ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE

1) Worked as Principal, Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi, India (April 1995 – October 2006). As Principal, headed the institution and was responsible for its academic and administrative leadership and progress.

(Daulat Ram College is a prestigious women’s college of the University of Delhi located in the North campus with an enrolment of over 2300 students. It has 17 Departments spanning the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce and the Sciences. It offers in addition, many foreign language and other add on courses which were started when I was Principal of that college till recently.)

2) Worked with additional charge as Director, Non-collegiate Women’s Education Board,(NCWEB) University of Delhi, India, (May 1999-January 2002). As Director I was responsible for administering, arranging and implementation of all the courses of the University of Delhi offered through the Board.

(The Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board offers post graduate and undergraduate courses of the University of Delhi in the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Commerce to women residing in and around Delhi in the non formal higher education stream of the University of Delhi. It had an enrolment of over 13,000 students when I was Director of the Board spread over many locations in Delhi where teaching was held for these courses.)
